Roll the Dice for Mammogram Awareness!!!
Dollars For Mammograms, Inc. is a “No Cost Mammogram” program designed for Women Who Can’t Afford Them. We provide “Help for Today” and “Hope for Tomorrow” to women throughout Charlotte and South Sarasota Counties.
Dollars For Mammograms, Inc. is holding their annual Bra-Dazzle Lunch, Saturday, February 29, 2020, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Heron Creek Golf & Country Club, 5301 Heron Creek Blvd, North Port, Florida, 34287. The Bra-Dazzle is held to help raise awareness of the importance of getting a mammogram in a light, fun-hearted way. Early detection saves lives and the current statistic for a woman’s chance of getting breast cancer in her lifetime is “1 in 8”.
At the event we hold a “Roll the Dice Chance Drawing” of gift certificates or auction items that have been donated from area businesses. Guests have a choice of paying $5 to roll one dice. They will receive as many chances as appears on the dice, unless they roll an ace which is wild, and then they receive seven chances. Or they may choose to pay $10 for a pair of dice, will receive as many chances as appears on the pair. If they rolled doubles, they will receive double the amount of the chances.
Please consider donating a gift certificate or auction item of $50.00 in value or more. Your business name will be show cased on the “Roll the Dice Chance Drawing” auction table and will be announced when the winners are drawn.
Please help by making us your Charity of Choice, to make the “Bra-Dazzle” a huge success. Your donation will be greatly appreciated. Proceeds from this event will be used to provide no cost mammograms to women who cannot afford them.
