Bra Decorating Contest for Breast Cancer Awareness!!!
Dollars For Mammograms, Inc. is a “No Cost Mammogram” program designed for Women Who Can’t Afford Them. We provide “Help for Today” and “Hope for Tomorrow” to women throughout Charlotte and South Sarasota Counties.
Dollars For Mammograms, Inc. is holding their annual “Bra-Dazzle for Breast Cancer Awareness Contest” to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in our community. It is a light-hearted way to support a serious cause! We encourage any individual to decorate a bra and to create a slogan with an appropriate theme to promote breast cancer awareness. Turn a bra into a work of art. Bra Entry Fee $25 per entry and you may enter two bras per contestant. Entries must be free standing, not attached to any props, 38C or larger in size, open from the back to accommodate a bra extender if necessary to fit male model. We cannot accommodate any large accessories or signs to enhance the theme of your bra. Display space at event is limited. There will be a first & second place winner.
Contestants may give additional support to our “No Cost Mammogram” service, by holding their own fundraiser with their bradacious creation. It is not a contest entry requirement to hold a fundraiser, but is greatly appreciated and helps further our cause. You will receive a tax deductible thank you letter for any funds you raise with your individual fundraiser.
Contest entries will be displayed and judged at our “Bra Dazzle Lunch” which will be held on February 29, 2020, at Heron Creek Golf & Country Club, 5301 Heron Creek Blvd, North Port, Florida. Your entry will be displayed with your name and slogan which will be provided by us to keep signage uniform. Please keep your slogan brief. Two awards will be presented.
Contest entry fee is $25.00 per bra entry and you may enter two bras per contestant. We reserve the right to auction all entries for additional funds, with the exception of the two winning entries. Winning bras are only auctioned by the request of the winner. You need not be present to win, but are welcome to purchase a ticket for the “Bra Dazzle Lunch”! Tickets are $55.00.
Bras, slogans, and funds raised will be picked up on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Entries will be judged on their originality, creativity, use of materials, and a brief slogan appropriate to finished bradacious creation. Entries must be original and created in a tasteful style.
Please make us your Charity of Choice and help make the “Bra-Dazzle for Breast Cancer Awareness Bra Contest” a huge success. Proceeds are used to provide no cost mammograms to women who cannot afford them. Your participation will be greatly appreciated.
Dollars for Mammograms, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public foundation established
solely for the purpose of providing no-cost mammograms to area women who are
uninsured or under insured and cannot afford the cost of a mammogram.
